Ducati has launched the new 2025 Panigale V4 in Europe, its most extreme sports motorcycle, which arrives with important updates that have made it even sportier and faster.

The main visible change in this new model was a ‘facelift’ in its design, mainly at the front, with new LED headlights and redesigned aerodynamic wings.

According to the company, this new design was inspired by the legendary Ducati 916. In addition, the new fairing reduces aerodynamic resistance by 4% and protects the rider more effectively in a straight line.

Another change, which is also easy to notice, was made to the rear swingarm, which is now double-sided and is derived from the Desmosedici GP used in MotoGP. With a new and lighter design, it reduces lateral rigidity by 37%, compared to the single-sided swingarm of the previous model.

2025 ducati panigale v4 s

Furthermore, the front frame, also derived from MotoGP, has been modified and is now lighter. It offers less rigidity compared to the previous model (-40% laterally).

More MotoGP-derived technologies have been incorporated into the new 2025 Panigale V4: the company has developed the so-called Vehicle Observer (DVO), which simulates the input of more than 70 sensors; and added a new colour TFT dashboard with a new Track mode, which ‘gives the feeling of being on a Desmosedici GP’.

The engine remains the same as the previous model, but has gained 0.5 hp, even with the stricter Euro5+ homologation. It is the 1,103 cc V4 Desmosedici Stradale, capable of generating up to 216 hp of maximum power at 13,500 rpm (209 hp at 12,750 rpm in the US), and 12.3 kgfm of torque.

Finally, the new 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 S arrives in Ducati Red with an Urban Grey frame, black wheels and a Matt Black front fender.

It will be available in stores across Europe in September.

Rev up your excitement as Yamaha unleashes the fourth generation of its legendary R15 series with the all-new 2024 Yamaha R15 V4. This beast shares its DNA with the super sports YZF R1, and trust us, it’s nothing short of spectacular.

Under the hood, or should we say, the fuel tank, the R15 V4 boasts a 155 CC LC4V SOHC FI Engine with VVA, delivering a heart-pounding 13.5kW of maximum horsepowe and 14.2N.m of torque. What sets it apart is the Traction Control System and Quick Shifter, making every ride a seamless thrill.

Inspired by the supersport R7, the R15 V4’s front design features a central LED projector for the headlight, with DRL lights on the sides. The liquid-cooled engine ensures optimal performance, and the A&S clutch provides smooth, low-stress shifting during deceleration.

One-of-a-kind Variable Valves Actuation (VVA) ensures torque for ease of use at low RPM, and the Traction Control System reduces the chances of wheelspin. The Quick Shifter allows clutch-less gear shifts, enhancing the overall riding experience.

For the adrenaline junkies, the R15 V4 comes with upside-down front forks, providing superior handling on twisty roads. The Dual Channel ABS with 282mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes ensures precise braking, even at high speeds.

The 140/70-17 radial rear tire offers better grip and shock-absorbing capacity, while the Class D Bi-Functional Headlight Unit and LED Position Lights showcase Yamaha’s commitment to cutting-edge design.

Finally, aerodynamic body design and an aluminum swingarm contribute to improved airflow management, allowing riders to reach top speeds faster and ensuring high-speed stability. The R15 V4 is not just a motorcycle; it’s a statement of power, style, and unmatched performance.

So, gear up for a ride that goes beyond boundaries with the 2024 Yamaha R15 V4 – where innovation meets the thrill of the open road!

Hey fellow riders and tech enthusiasts! Get ready to buckle up your helmets because Triumph has just dropped a bombshell announcement, shaking up the motorcycle scene.

The all-new 2024 Triumph Daytona 660 is gearing up to make its grand entrance on January 9, 2024, and the excitement is through the roof!

Triumph, notorious for keeping us on the edge of our seats, teased us with only cryptic messages like “the rules are about to change” and “all-new motorcycle.”

The only clues we have are a handful of tantalizing images, revealing a fully faired beauty. Speculations are running wild, but one thing is for sure – it’s bound to be a game-changer.

Now, let’s talk lineage. Remember the Trident 600 and the adventurous Tiger Sport 660? Well, say hello to the potential newest member of the family – the Daytona 660. A nod to the iconic Daytona name from Triumph’s history, this model promises a thrilling ride with a modern twist.

Despite its sporty moniker, whispers in the wind suggest that the Daytona 660 might lean a bit more towards the touring side. Picture this – a ride that marries the adrenaline of sporty escapades with a hint of comfort in the riding position. It’s like getting the best of both worlds.

Under the hood, or should I say, beneath the sleek fairings, lies the same 3-cylinder engine that powers the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, cranking out a formidable 81 horsepower. The burning question remains: Will Triumph turn up the dial on the Daytona 660, pushing the boundaries of power and performance? Only time will unveil this mystery.

As for the wallet warriors among us, the price tag is still shrouded in secrecy. But hey, good things come to those who wait, right? Anticipate a slight uptick from the Tiger Sport 660, and you’ll probably be in the ballpark.

The bottom line? January 9th is the date circled on every rider’s calendar. Triumph has us hooked, line and sinker, and we can’t wait to unveil all the juicy details of the 2024 Daytona 660.

The XSR series draws inspiration from Yamaha‘s rich racing history, and in 2024, it takes a bold leap with the introduction of the new XSR900 GP.

Over the years, Yamaha has notched up numerous victories in various motorcycle racing categories, including the Grand Prix. The 1980s marked a “Golden Era” for Yamaha in Grand Prix racing, with innovations that continue to influence modern sport motorcycles.

One of the key innovations from this era was the Deltabox frame, which offered exceptional rigidity and feedback. Today, this iconic frame style remains at the core of many Yamaha motorcycles, including the XSR900 GP.

The XSR900 GP embodies the “Faster Sons” philosophy, respecting the past while incorporating the latest in performance and technology. Its upper cowling, inspired by 1980s Grand Prix bikes, pays homage to Yamaha’s racing history. The tubed structure connecting the cowling to the frame and the use of a beta pin fastening are reminiscent of that era.

yamaha xsr900 gp

Also, the XSR900 GP features a race-bike look with design cues from the 1980s, including a squared-off upper cowling and a colour-matched seat cover that conceals the rear light. The iconic yellow number boards harken back to the Grand Prix machines of the 1980s.

Clip-on handlebars give the XSR900 GP a sportier feel, shifting the rider’s position forward for enhanced control and a precise riding experience. The adjustable footrests and thicker seat provide both comfort and a sporty riding position.

To support the forward-leaning position, the XSR900 GP’s frame areas have been tuned for stability in turning. It features an aluminum steering stem shaft for a balance between lightness and stability.

yamaha xsr900 gp

In addition, the XSR900 GP incorporates modern suspension and braking components, including fully adjustable KYB front forks, a link-type rear suspension, and a Brembo radial front master cylinder. It also boasts Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) for customized riding experiences, with preset modes and the ability to adjust electronic rider aids via a smartphone.

Anyway, the XSR900 GP brings the glory of Yamaha’s racing history into the modern era, offering riders a blend of nostalgia and cutting-edge performance that’s truly spectacular.

Remarkably, despite its formidable power, the M 1000 XR maintains a remarkably light DIN empty weight of only 223 kg when fully fueled. With a chassis designed for high-performance road use, exceptional aerodynamics, and cutting-edge control electronics, this crossover bike introduces dynamic riding possibilities that were previously reserved for purebred superbikes.

bmw m 1000 xr

For those seeking even more enhanced performance and reduced weight, the optional M Competition Package is available ex works. The M XR prototype boasts a top speed of approximately 280 km/h, leaving no doubts about its extraordinary capabilities.

Aerodynamics played a pivotal role in the development of the M 1000 XR prototype alongside its drivetrain and suspension technologies. To ensure unrivaled stability at high speeds, the motorcycle is equipped with M winglets. These innovative winglets not only enhance riding stability but also provide greater wheel-to-road contact, particularly during acceleration and at high velocities.

By increasing the load on the front wheel, the winglets mitigate wheelie tendencies, reducing the intervention required from the traction control system. As a result, more power is efficiently converted into acceleration, allowing riders to achieve faster lap times. Furthermore, the front-wheel-oriented seating position enhances overall bike control, especially in supersport mode.

Continuing the tradition set by the M 1000 RR and M 1000 R, the M 1000 XR features the M brake system. Developed using invaluable insights gained from BMW Motorrad’s factory racing machines in the WorldSBK Championship, these brakes offer optimal performance for both track and performance riding. The M brake callipers are distinguished by their striking blue anodized coating, accentuating their connection to the illustrious M lineage.

BMW Motorrad enthusiasts and performance aficionados can eagerly anticipate further details about the BMW M 1000 XR, as BMW Motorrad plans to release additional information in the second half of 2023.

Honda has just unveiled the 2023 CBR 250RR SP in Indonesia, showcasing the brand’s commitment to producing powerful, high-performance bikes for both everyday commuting and thrilling weekend track days.

With its sleek design and impressive features, the new bike is poised to take the market by storm and deliver an exceptional riding experience to both novice and experienced riders alike.

These features work together to provide a smooth, effortless riding experience that’s sure to thrill even the most demanding of riders.

Honda has taken the 2023 CBR 250RR SP to new heights by upgrading the engine to deliver performance that rivals the Yamaha R3. With this enhancement, the new bike has become a top contender in the market for small-displacement sportbikes.

While the design of the new model may look familiar, there’s no denying that it’s both modern and stylish, with sharp, aggressive lines that exude a sporty, high-performance feel. At the front of the bike, you’ll find a dual headlight setup that not only adds to the bike’s striking appearance, but also improves visibility for safer, more confident riding. Moving to the rear, you’ll notice a short, streamlined design that features a built-in pillion support for added convenience without sacrificing the bike’s sleek, athletic look.

2023 honda cbr 250rr sp

Finally, the 2023 Honda CBR 250RR SP has received a major boost to its engine, resulting in an impressive increase in performance. By making changes to the cylinder head, Honda has been able to increase the compression ratio of the liquid-cooled 250cc twin-cylinder engine, resulting in a maximum power output of 42 hp (31 kW) at 13,000 rpm. With this upgrade, the CBR 250RR SP now delivers an even more thrilling performance, putting it on par with the Yamaha R3’s 321cc twin-cylinder engine.

Honda provides not only the high-performance version but also a more straightforward option, the Standard version. The latter features 38.7 hp of maximum power and fewer technological advancements than its more potent counterpart, such as the assisted and slipper clutch and the Quick Shifter. Nevertheless, it remains an excellent alternative for anyone seeking a 250cc sports motorcycle with satisfactory performance and a reasonable price.

Anyway, the 2023 Honda CBR 250RR SP is currently available for purchase in Indonesia at a starting price of IDR 75,150,000 (approximately US$ 4,883). Yamaha launched in India the 2023 R15M, its 155 cc sports motorcycle, which arrives with 2 riding modes, LED turn signals and a color TFT panel inspired by the R1 supersport bike.

In addition to these novelties, the new motorcycle maintains other technologies that were already present in the previous model, such as Traction Control, Quickshifter (for gear changes without the need to activate the clutch), two-channel ABS brake, Upside Down front forks, Assist and Slipper clutch, and aluminum rear swingarm.

The highlight of the 2023 R15M is its colorful TFT panel that was inspired by the equipment of the supersport bike R1. It brings complete information, including a gear indicator, as well as connection to a Smartphone via Bluetooth to access the Y-Connect application, which is Yamaha’s latest innovation, and which allows you to answer calls, locate the vehicle, register where you parked and access the history.

In addition, the two riding modes, Track & Street, allow for different behaviors whether on the track or on the street. In Track mode, Traction Control and ABS intervention is reduced. In Street mode, the systems are fully active, increasing safety.

Finally, the 2023 version of Yamaha motorcycles will also be equipped with an on-board diagnostics system (OBD-II) that will help monitor emission levels in real time and ultimately contribute to reducing the carbon footprint.

Engine, Chassi and Technology

The 2023 Yamaha R15M continues with the same liquid-cooled 155 cm³ LC4V SOHC single-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), which is capable of generating up to 13.5 kW (18.4 hp) of maximum power at 10,000 rpm. and 14.2 Nm (1.44 kgfm) of maximum torque at 7,500 rpm.

Finally, the model comes with two-channel ABS (on both wheels), disc brakes on both axles (being 282 mm at the front), Full-LED lighting (with class D bifunctional headlight LED projector) and a 11 liter fuel tank.

Kawasaki has announced the relaunch of the Ninja 300 in Brazil, its 300cc sportbike, which returns after being discontinued in 2018, when it was replaced by the Ninja 400, to be the brand’s cheapest bike.

The model is one of the main icons of Brazilian motorcycling and was the brand’s sales leader, with more than 10,000 units produced in Brazil.

Affectionately nicknamed ‘Ninjinha’ (‘little Ninja’), the 300cc motorcycle collected numerous awards over the years and was widely recognized by the specialized publishing market.

The 2023 Ninja 300 will be available at Kawasaki dealerships from the second half of March with a suggested public price of BRL 29,990.00 + shipping (that’s about US$ 5,811).

2023 ninja 300

Thus, it is the cheapest sports bike above 300cc in Brazil, since its main rival, Yamaha YZF-R3, starts at BRL 32,590.00 (US$ 6,315).

How is the Ninja 300

The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300 returns with the same design as when it was discontinued in 2018. It is harmonious and still very modern, with defined angles and flowing lines.

The aluminum alloy wheels maintain the bold, sporty design with ‘chicken foot’ spokes. They are equipped with a daisy-shaped brake disc. The tires are Pirelli Diablo Rosso II, measuring 110/70-17 at the front and 150/60-17 at the rear.

2023 ninja 300

But, the main highlight of the Ninja 300 is its 296 cm³ twin-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection and liquid cooling, which is capable of generating up to 39 hp of maximum power at 11,000 rpm.

In addition, it is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, assist and slipper clutch, and suspension with telescopic fork at the front and Uni-Trak with gas shock absorber at the rear.

Anyway, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is back from the dead and hits stores in Lime Green to be the gateway to the brand’s sports line. Above it, the Ninja 400 and Ninja 650 continue to be offered.

The look of the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa remains the same, with very modern and aggressive fairings and front optical set. This one is vertical, with an LED projector at the bottom. In fact, all lighting is LED, that is, headlights, flashlights and turn signals rely on this technology.

Kawasaki launched in Europe the brand new 2024 Ninja ZX-4R, its 400cc supersport model, which arrives with a 4-cylinder in-line engine and up to 80 hp to dominate the medium-displacement segment.

After the launch of the Ninja ZX-25R (with 250cc, 4-cylinder engine) in Indonesia in 2021, the company invested and created a spicy 400cc version.

In addition to the ‘standard’ ZX-4R version, the ZX-4R SE (with colors and graphics inspired by KRT, Kawasaki’s factory racing team, plus Quick Shifter, smoked windshield, USB port and frame slider) and the ZX-4RR (top of the line model with everything from the ZX-4R SE plus ZX-10R rear suspension and adjustable front suspension) will be offered.

kawasaki ninja zx-4r

How is the Ninja ZX-4R

The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R is an all-new motorcycle, not based on the Ninja 400, the brand’s 400cc twin-cylinder. In fact, the chassis is based on the structure of the ZX-25R and is inspired by the chassis elements and design concept of the Ninja ZX-10RR.

It features a high-strength steel trellis frame and a long-type curved swingarm, ensuring optimal front-rear weight distribution, as well as an excellent balance of rigidity and flexibility, providing agile handling and excellent feedback.

The design is very similar to the Ninja ZX-6R, the 636cc and 4-cylinder supersport bike, with very similar fairings and angles. It’s aggressive and high-class modern, inspired by the bigger supersport bikes from the Ninja family.

But, the ‘icing on the cake’ of the 2023 Ninja ZX-4R is its 399cm³, in-line 4-cylinder, liquid cooled and with Ram Air engine, which is capable of generating up to 59 kW (80 hp) of maximum power (when the Ram Air is pressurized). According to the brand, this engine is capable of revving up to 15,000 rpm.

kawasaki ninja zx-4r

In addition, in all versions, the front suspension is an USD Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork – Big Piston), with a preload adjustment mechanism on the ZX-4R SE and ZX-4RR, and the brake system has with dual 290mm semi-floating front discs and radial-mount monobloc calipers.

Finally, technology is not lacking in the new bike. It brings, as standard, assist and slipper clutch, ECO indicator, electronic throttle body, KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter), KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control), Power modes, ABS brakes, Horizontal Back-Link rear suspension, Full-LED Lighting, 4.3″ color TFT digital panel and Smartphone connection.

Anyway, the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R is expected to hit stores in Europe and North America in the fall of 2023. Pricing has not yet been announced.

Chinese motorcycle and ATV maker CFMoto is developing a super sports bike with a 1,000cc V4 engine producing more than 200hp, according to a patent filing released by the German website motorradonline, with the possibility of the bike being called the CFMoto 1000 RR.

According to information, this engine may be derived from the one used by KTM in MotoGP, in its prototype RC16 motorcycle. For those who don’t know, the Austrian brand is a CFMoto’s partner in China, which has also set foot in MotoGP, in the smaller categories.

In the patent filing, CFMoto describes the V4 engine with up to 150 kW of maximum power, that is, approximately 204 hp, something that would place it among the main manufacturers of sports motorcycles.

With that, the Chinese company may have its eye on entering the top category of the superbikes world championship, the WorldSBK, where today there is a very big dispute between Kawasaki, Ducati, Yamaha and Honda.

cfmoto 1,000cc v4 super sports bike

Ducati, for example, already uses the Panigale V4 R with its V4 engine in WorldSBK, which is derived from the Desmosedici GP engine in MotoGP. For 2023, the company estimates that its engine can yield up to 240 hp, that is, the most powerful on the grid.

With its 204 hp, we believe the power of CFMoto’s bike can be for the street production model, undergoing improvements and adjustments to extract more for a competition model.

Anyway, now we have to wait, but it is a fact that Chinese manufacturers are entering the world of motorcycling with everything and it is to be expected a top-of-the-line model to compete in the best championships in the world.
