Honda has launched in Europe the 2025 NT1100, its 1100cc touring motorcycle, which comes with aesthetic updates, more torque at low and medium revs, and more technology that increases safety and comfort.

It is immediately clear that the design of the NT1100 has been slightly modified, becoming sharper and more aggressive, with new LED headlights that incorporate the DRL and turn signals, the same feature used on the X-ADV adventure scooter.

The engine of the new 2025 NT1100 has not changed, but it has been adjusted to offer 7% more torque at low and medium revs, without compromising maximum power. According to Honda, adjustments were made to the intake, combustion and exhaust to achieve this goal.

2025 honda nt1100

The 1,084cc liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine is now capable of generating up to 102 hp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The gearbox is a 6-speed with the option of an automated dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

In addition, a six-axis IMU provides even more precision for various electronic safety aids, with the addition of Cornering ABS. Other electronic highlights present in the model are: 3 riding modes, HSTC traction control with 3-level wheelie control, power delivery control and engine braking.

Finally, the 2025 NT1100 will be available in a new version, called the NT1100 Electronic Suspension, with the sophisticated fully electronically adjustable suspension offered by Showa-EERA.

The 2025 Honda NT1100 will be available in 3 color options (two of which are new): Mat Warm Ash Metallic (new), Gunmetal Black Metallic (new), and Pearl Hawkseye Blue.

Ducati has launched the 2025 model of the Multistrada V4 in Europe, its most extreme adventure crossover, which is even more refined, more comfortable, and even features technology used in MotoGP for automatic suspension lowering.

One of the highlights of the model is this lowering system called the ‘Automatic Lowering Device’. It quickly lowers the bike by up to 30 mm when the speed drops below 10 km/h.

When the rider accelerates again and the speed exceeds 50 km/h, the bike returns to its normal height, all done very quickly.

multistrada v4 2025

With this, shorter riders can be even more at ease, as maneuvering this tall bike is much easier and more comfortable.

Another highlight of the new Multistrada V4 is the extended deactivation of the rear cylinders, further reducing fuel consumption by up to 6%.

According to the company, the model already featured deactivation of the rear cylinders when the bike was stopped and idling. The new feature now is the extension of this feature to also when the bike is moving.

multistrada v4 2025

The cylinders are only reactivated after a certain speed or when a little more torque is required, depending on the position of the accelerator. This feature cannot be disabled and is present in all riding modes.

The new Ducati Multistrada V4 2025 (including the V4 S and Pikes Peak variants) will hit stores in October in three color options: Ducati Red, Thrilling Black and Arctic White.

The Heart of a Superbike

Under the sleek and elegant body of the Multistrada V4 RS lies the heart of a superbike – the Panigale V4-derived Desmosedici Stradale engine, complete with a dry clutch and dedicated electronic calibrations. This engine unleashes unique performance and riding sensations, making every ride memorable.

The Multistrada V4 RS is the only one in the family to adopt the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine. The year 2024 brings exciting news for motorcycle enthusiasts across Europe as Honda launches the revamped NT1100, its 1,084 cc touring motorcycle, based on the CRF 1100L Africa Twin.

This two-wheeled marvel combines comfortable touring, agile handling, and cutting-edge technology, making it a standout in the world of motorcycles.

In this article, we’ll delve into the key features and innovations that make the 2024 Honda NT1100 a true standout in the motorcycle industry.

Styling and Comfort

One of the first things that catch the eye when you lay eyes on the 2024 Honda NT1100 is its sleek and subtle styling. The design isn’t just for aesthetics; it’s engineered for efficient aerodynamic performance. The riding position is tailored explicitly for touring, making those long journeys a breeze.

2024 honda nt1100

Customizability is at the core of the NT1100’s design. The 5-way adjustable screen height and angle ensure that you can find the perfect setting to shield yourself from the wind while maintaining a clear view of the road. Upper and lower wind deflectors add an extra layer of protection for the rider.

Technological Marvel

Honda has truly embraced the future with the 2024 NT1100. The centerpiece of this technological marvel is the 6.5-inch TFT touch screen. It not only provides full-color, customizable displays but also offers seamless connectivity with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®.

This means you can stay connected, access maps, and enjoy your favorite music without taking your eyes off the road.

The NT1100 doesn’t stop at infotainment; it’s packed with convenience features. Cruise control and heated grips come as standard equipment, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable ride in all conditions.

Sizable integrated panniers provide ample storage for your gear, and a center stand is also included for added convenience.

2024 honda nt1100

Impressive Performance

Under the hood—or should we say, under the tank—lies a twin-cylinder engine inherited from the legendary Africa Twin. However, this engine has been meticulously tuned for super-smooth acceleration and a satisfying low-rpm sound.

What’s even more impressive is that this performance doesn’t come at the expense of fuel economy. The engine’s efficiency allows for an astonishing 400km range from the 20L fuel tank.

Electronic Wizardry

The 2024 NT1100 boasts an electronic package that will leave tech enthusiasts in awe. With features like 3-level Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Wheelie Control, full LED lights, self-cancelling indicators, and Emergency Stop Signals, safety and control are top priorities.

Additionally, for those who want even more control over their ride, Honda’s six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) is an option worth considering.

2024 honda nt1100

Color Options to Suit Your Style

The 2024 NT1100 comes in a range of stylish color options, including the eye-catching and new “Matt Jeans Blue Metallic,” the new vibrant “Candy Chromosphere Red,” and the sophisticated “Matt Iridium Gray Metallic.”

Conclusion

In summary, the 2024 Honda NT1100 is a motorcycle that combines European elegance with cutting-edge technology. Its sleek styling, adjustable comfort features, and impressive performance make it a standout in the touring motorcycle segment.

BMW Motorrad is set to take the riding experience to new heights with the unveiling of their latest prototype, the BMW M 1000 XR.

As a preview of the third M model in BMW Motorrad’s anniversary year, the M 1000 XR combines the cutting-edge technology and high-performance features of the ‘M’ line.

Designed as a long-distance sports bike with exceptional endurance and race-track capabilities, this motorcycle is poised to exceed the highest expectations of riders worldwide.

The letter ‘M’ holds an iconic status within BMW, symbolizing racing triumphs, high-performance engineering, exclusivity, and individuality. In 2019, BMW Motorrad successfully introduced the M range strategy for motorcycles, which has since provided customers with M special equipment and M Performance Parts.

bmw m 1000 xr

Following the brand’s continued commitment to innovation, the M 1000 RR and M 1000 R models emerged as the first two independent M models from BMW Motorrad in subsequent years.

Celebrating 100 years of BMW Motorrad, the M 1000 XR prototype embodies nearly a century of motorsport excellence and acts as a glimpse into the future of supersports motorcycles.

It flawlessly combines the skills required for country road riding, long-distance journeys, and adrenaline-fueled track use, setting a new benchmark for performance in this segment.

At the heart of the M 1000 XR prototype lies an in-line four-cylinder engine derived from the BMW S 1000 RR super sports bike. Leveraging BMW ShiftCam technology, which enables variable valve timing and lift, this engine generates an astounding output of over 147 kW (200 hp).

Remarkably, despite its formidable power, the M 1000 XR maintains a remarkably light DIN empty weight of only 223 kg when fully fueled. With a chassis designed for high-performance road use, exceptional aerodynamics, and cutting-edge control electronics, this crossover bike introduces dynamic riding possibilities that were previously reserved for purebred superbikes.

bmw m 1000 xr

For those seeking even more enhanced performance and reduced weight, the optional M Competition Package is available ex works. The M XR prototype boasts a top speed of approximately 280 km/h, leaving no doubts about its extraordinary capabilities.

Aerodynamics played a pivotal role in the development of the M 1000 XR prototype alongside its drivetrain and suspension technologies. To ensure unrivaled stability at high speeds, the motorcycle is equipped with M winglets. These innovative winglets not only enhance riding stability but also provide greater wheel-to-road contact, particularly during acceleration and at high velocities.

By increasing the load on the front wheel, the winglets mitigate wheelie tendencies, reducing the intervention required from the traction control system. As a result, more power is efficiently converted into acceleration, allowing riders to achieve faster lap times. Furthermore, the front-wheel-oriented seating position enhances overall bike control, especially in supersport mode.

Continuing the tradition set by the M 1000 RR and M 1000 R, the M 1000 XR features the M brake system. Developed using invaluable insights gained from BMW Motorrad’s factory racing machines in the WorldSBK Championship, these brakes offer optimal performance for both track and performance riding. The M brake callipers are distinguished by their striking blue anodized coating, accentuating their connection to the illustrious M lineage.

BMW Motorrad enthusiasts and performance aficionados can eagerly anticipate further details about the BMW M 1000 XR, as BMW Motorrad plans to release additional information in the second half of 2023.

Yamaha has launched in Europe the 2023 TRACER 9 GT+, its most extreme high-displacement Sport Touring motorcycle, which comes with state-of-the-art electronics and even radar, to be the best option in the segment.

One of the highlights of the TRACER 9 GT+ is its millimeter-wave radar system, installed on the front of the bike between the headlights, which allows the use of important technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and the Unified Brake System (UBS) linked to the radar.

With ACC, the new model has the ability to automatically maintain a fixed distance from the vehicle in front, through constant distance measurement made by the radar.

In addition, ACC has new features such as ‘cornering assistance’ (which inhibits speed increases when the system detects that the bike is cornering) and ‘passing assistance’ (which accelerates more smoothly than usual when it detects that the motorcycle’s blinker is on and it is performing an overtaking manoeuvre).

2023 yamaha tracer 9 gt+

Finally, the radar-linked Unified Brake System (UBS) provides greater control using data from the radar and the 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to assist and regulate front and rear braking forces.

According to the company, there are three main elements in the system that operate only when the BC (Brake Control) is on. Firstly, the brake assist intervenes when the system detects that a collision is imminent. Second, front/rear brake assist adjusts the forces on both wheels for stable deceleration. And third, cornering brake control automatically adjusts braking force to inhibit tire slip when the bike is leaned over.

The 2023 TRACER 9 GT+ features Full-LED lighting and a new 7″ color TFT panel with three different screen themes and smartphone connection to access the Yamaha MyRide app.

In addition, it arrives with electronically controlled semi-active KYB integrated suspension, integrated Riding Modes, tilt-sensitive 3-mode Traction Control (TCS) system, Slip Control System (SCS), Wheelie Control and 3rd generation Quickshifter.

The 2023 Yamaha TRACER 9 GT+ has a 889 cm³ CP3 (inline 3 cylinders) liquid cooled engine, capable of generating up to 119 hp of maximum power and 9.4 kgfm of torque. In addition, it features optimized gear ratios and a refined slip and assist clutch.

2023 yamaha tracer 9 gt+

Finally, the model has an aluminum CF Deltabox chassis that, together with an aluminum swingarm, provides excellent stability at high speeds, without compromising agility.

Anyway, the 2023 Yamaha TRACER 9 GT+ hits stores in Europe from May 2023 in Icon Performance and Power Gray colors.

Ducati launched in Europe the 2022 model of the Multistrada V4, Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport, which arrives with a new color, electronic updates and new accessories.

The bike comes with the new Iceberg White livery for the S version, which is a glossy white colour that enhances the lines of the bike. The Iceberg White Multistrada V4 S will be available in Ducati dealerships starting from March and joins the Ducati Red and Aviator Grey colour options.

About electronics, the main update is the so called ‘Minimum Preload’ for the semi-automatic function of the electronic suspension. According to the company, this feature allows you to reduce the height of the motorcycle and makes it easier and safer to place your feet on the ground during city use or when manoeuvring at low speed, especially with a passenger on board.

In addition, the company has added improvements to the Ducati Performance accessories line, which is enriched with two elements: the lowered suspension kit and a set of aluminum bags.

The lowered suspension kit consists of fork springs, shock absorber springs and side stand, designed to reduce the saddle height from the ground by 20 mm.

Finally, the latest addition to the Multistrada family is the aluminum side panniers (76 liters) and top case (41 liters), designed by the Centro Stile Ducati and made in collaboration with Givi. To further increase practicality, internal bags are also available as an accessory, made of resistant waterproof fabric with heat-sealed seams and customized with the Ducati Performance logo.

Honda launched in Europe the 2022 NT1100, its new tourer bike based on the CRF1100L Africa Twin. The model arrives to be another option in the company’s catalogue, with the light adventurer’s capabilities and the comfort of a tourer.

We can say that the new NT1100 is a ‘bridge’ between the adventurer CRF1100L Africa Twin and the Grand Tourer GL 1800 Gold Wing. The Africa Twin is designed for off-road use and the Gold Wing is designed for the road. The NT1100 manages to do both: it allows for some off-road use and is ready to travel.

The new 2022 Honda NT1100 arrives to fight in the segment that today has Kawasaki Versys 1000, Suzuki GSX-S1000GT, BMW S 1000 XR, BMW F 900 XR and Yamaha TRACER 9.

Design

The Honda NT1100 has a design, mainly frontal, similar to that of the X-ADV adventure scooter, with clean but aggressive lines, and double headlights that extend to the sides and towards the handles.

The tall, wide windshield offers 5 levels of adjustment, both in height and angulation, allowing for optimal protection against wind and rain. In addition, there are upper and lower deflectors, which help to deflect wind from your arms and legs.

Speaking of legs, they fit into the spaces created by the fairings, allowing the knee to ‘hug’ the tank and stay well protected.

As it was designed to offer more comfort and practicality for everyday use, the seat height is 820 mm, unlike the Africa Twin which has the standard 870 mm (850 mm in the lower position).

In addition, it leaves the store with panniers (rigid side cases) as a standard accessory, with 33 liters of capacity on the left and 32 liters on the right.

Finally, the NT1100 will be available in the following color options: Matte Iridium Gray Metallic, Pearl Glare White, and Graphite Black.

Chassis

The 2022 Honda NT1100 features the same chassis and engine as the CRF1100L Africa Twin, ie a steel semi-double cradle frame and bolted aluminum subframe.

The suspensions have been replaced: off-roading comes out and models focused on asphalt and with a slightly more sporty feel come in. It has a 43 mm Showa USD front fork and a mono shock, also Showa, at the rear, both adjustable (the rear has a hydraulic remote spring adjustment).

Also with asphalt in mind, the wheels are 17″ cast aluminum, fitted with tires measuring 120/70-17 at the front and 180/55-17 at the rear.

Finally, offering great braking power, it has a double 310 mm brake disc at the front with 4-piston calipers and radial mounting. To avoid locking up in heavy and emergency braking, it has the ABS system.

Engine and gearbox

As it is based on the Africa Twin, the NT1100 has the same engine and gearbox as the adventurer, with just a few adjustments. For example, the intake and exhaust have been tuned to provide smooth, powerful acceleration and pleasant ‘throb’ at low rpm.

The engine is a 1084 cm³ SOHC parallel twin cylinder with 8 valves, electronic injection and liquid cooling, capable of generating up to 75 kW (101 HP) of maximum power at 7,250 rpm and 104 Nm / 10.8 kgfm of torque at 6,250 rpm.

It works in conjunction with the optional DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) automatic transmission, in addition to the standard 6-speed ‘manual’ transmission.

In terms of electronics, it has Throttle By Wire, 3 standard riding modes (Urban, Rain and Tour) in addition to 2 customizable modes, Traction Control (Honda Selectable Torque Control) with 3 levels of action, Wheelie Control, Power Mode and Engine Brake, also with 3 levels.

Technology

The 2022 Honda NT1100 arrives with Full-LED lighting with DRL (daytime running light), automatic canceling turn signals and emergency stop signals, USB jack and 12V ACC connector.

The panel is fully digital in 6.5″ color TFT and touch screen, which offers 3 modes of screen display: GOLD shows all numeric and mode information; SILVER focuses on the speedometer and tachometer; and BRONZE, on the tachometer.

Finally, it offers Smartphone connection via Bluetooth, in addition to Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®.

Honda released a video teaser about its next release: the 2022 NT 1100, its new sport touring bike that will be launched on October 21st, with the same engine as the CRF 1100L Africa Twin.

The new 2022 Honda NT 1100 arrives to fight in the segment that today has Kawasaki Versys 1000, Suzuki GSX-S1000GT, BMW S 1000 XR, BMW F 900 XR and Yamaha TRACER 9.

In the past, the company has already sold ‘tourer’ models with the initials ‘NT’, such as the Honda NTV 700 Deauville, a model with a sports road proposal, with a certain fairing, ample windshield and even side cases.

You can see very little in the video teaser released, but the model will have a large vertical windshield and side cases, as well as engine/crankcase protector and auxiliary lights. See the video teaser below:

With the launch, the Honda NT 1100 completes the brand’s touring line, which today begins with the CB 500X, passes through the NC 750X and ends with the luxurious GL 1800 Gold Wing. Currently, there is a gap between NC and GL.

For now there is no more information about the new bike. We have to wait for the release to bring all the details and specifications.

]]>
Ducati has launched in Europe the new 2022 Multistrada V2, which arrives lighter (compared to the Multistrada 950), with ergonomic improvements, a series of engine updates and new graphics.

With the motto ‘Your everyday wonder’, the Multistrada V2 is the ideal bike to enjoy every trip, but versatile in daily use and in the city, always with its sporty character and unmistakable Ducati style.

Design and ergonomics

The design of the Multistrada V2 is elegant and sporty, characterized by fluid lines, clean surfaces and a balance between front and rear volume that is light and slim. It also has new graphics on the side fairings, which show the bike’s name on both sides.

The bike’s ergonomics have also been reworked, making it more comfortable and intuitive, capable of putting any rider at ease in any situation. The seat height has been reduced to 830 mm, and now has a redesigned, narrower and more compact shape between the rider’s legs.

2022 ducati multistrada v2

These changes ensure safety when the motorcycle is parked and increase confidence when maneuvering at low speed, even with a passenger and full luggage. In addition, a lower seat and suspension lowering kit are available which, when combined, allow a seat height of 790 mm to be achieved.

The new shape of the seat provides a flat area that guarantees the rider freedom of movement, improving the level of comfort and allowing him to find his ideal position. Finally, there was an improvement in the riding position, with new footpegs inherited from the Multistrada V4.

Engine and chassis

The new 2022 Multistrada V2 is equipped with the 937 cm³ Testastretta 2-cylinder engine, with desmodromic distribution, four valves per cylinder and liquid cooling, capable of generating up to 113 HP of maximum power and 94 Nm/10 kgfm of torque. It is also available in the 35 kW version for A2 license holders.

According to the company, it is very linear and smooth at low revs, but has a ready and vigorous torque that, if necessary, can release all the Ducati character, typically sporty, capable of causing adrenaline rush.

In addition, the evolution of the Testastretta 11° mounted on the new Multistrada V2 has important improvements: new connecting rods, new 8-disc hydraulic clutch and an updated gearbox.

2022 ducati multistrada v2s grey right

The bike’s chassis is agile and intuitive, with a 19″ front wheel that ensures a smooth and comfortable ride, always with the ideal level of reaction and precision. In addition, it has a semi-active Ducati Skyhook EVO Suspension (standard on the S version), which manages to absorb the irregularities of the floor and always guarantee the ideal tuning of the vehicle, improving safety and comfort.

Finally, another area of improvement was the reduction in weight of the bike, which, by working on various elements, resulted in a 5 kg reduction in weight compared to the Multistrada 950. The engine upgrade produced a reduction of around 2 kg, including clutch (1.5 kg) and its cover, gearbox drum and connecting rods.

Technology

The 2022 Ducati Multistrada V2 is equipped as standard with an advanced electronics package, which offers everything you need to travel in comfort and safety. The package includes Cornering ABS, Vehicle Hold Control, Ducati Traction Control, four Riding Modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro), and the new Ducati Brake Light system.

In the S version, a complete segment-reference option package is available, which includes the addition of the Ducati Skyhook electronic suspension, Cruise Control, Full-LED lighting equipped with Ducati Cornering Lights, Ducati Quick Shift Up & Down, Hands Free system, and 5” TFT high resolution color screen instrument panel.

The bike’s color choices are as follows: “Ducati Red” with black wheels, available for both the Multistrada V2 and the Multistrada V2 S, along with the new “Street Grey” color scheme with black frame and red wheels “GP Red”, which is only available for the S version.

For the Multistrada V2 family there are two optional configuration levels that can be ordered directly from the factory. Essential is available for the Multistrada V2 and Multistrada V2 S, while the Travel package, with side bags, heated handles and center stand, can be ordered for the S version.

It is sold in Italy starting from €14.990.

Triumph announced that its new adventurous middleweight crossover bike Tiger Sport 660 is arriving on October 5th. The new motorcycle will compete in the medium displacement Crossovers (Adventure Sports models) segment.

Along with the announcement, it was released a new image of the final bike, in red color. Now it is more clear how the Tiger Sport 660 looks, especially on its front, with double horizontal LED headlights. The design is sharp, with well defined angles.

These are the first information and images released by the English manufacturer about this new model, which is in the final stages of testing.

Also, in the previously released image, we can see that the new bike has good frontal protection, with some fairing and a windshield. The suspension appears to be slightly higher than on the Trident 660, with a USD Showa fork at the front and monoshock at the rear.

tiger sport 660

Talking about Trident 660, it appears that Tiger Sport 660 uses the base of the ‘naked’ bike. Chassis and engine will likely be the same, perhaps with some tweaking.

In one of the images we can see the Tiger Sport 660 equipped with rigid side cases (saddlebags), which allows you to carry a certain amount of luggage.

The 660 cm³ 3-cylinders engine that equips Trident 660 is capable of generating up to 81 HP (60 kW) of maximum power and 64Nm / 6.5 kgfm of torque.

So, stay tuned on October 5th to witness the dawn of a new adventure sports era.

Suzuki has launched the new 2022 GSX-S1000GT, its 1000cc Sports Tourer bike, based on the ‘naked’ GSX-S1000, which arrives with an aggressive new design – which will be the basis for other future bikes from the brand – and new technologies.

The main feature of the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT is its ability to provide comfort with high performance, making it a great choice for travel. The Sports Tourer models have this characteristic, achieved through fairings, windshield and more upright riding position.

The highlight of the 2022 GSX-S1000GT is its new design which, according to the company, will be the basis for future motorcycles of the brand (probably the sporty GSX-R1000). It has strait lines and sharp angles along the entire length of the bike. The new, very aggressive front fairing features horizontally arranged LED headlights, a new mirror design and side-mounted turn signals.

This new front end bears a certain resemblance to the Yamaha Tracer 7 GT and the supersport Yamaha R1, with two LED cannons on the lower side edges, with two LED lines just above, for the daytime running light (DRL).

Small cutouts on the side ends work as aerodynamic “wings”, derived from the bike used in MotoGP, and which is a trend in the world of sports bikes.

Finally, the GSX-S1000GT comes in three colors: Metallic Triton Blue, which represents the Suzuki brand identity, as used on the company’s MotoGP machines, Metallic Reflective Blue, a dark blue with a glossy finish, and Glass Sparkle Black, a combination of glossy and smooth black.

2022 suzuki gsx-s1000gt

Technology

The new 2022 Suzuki GSX-S1000GT arrives packed with technology, getting fully updated and ready to face the competition, say, Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX.

It relies on the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), which is the riding modes system. There are three options available: Active (which releases power and torque more aggressively), Basic (which gives this delivery a softening), and Comfort (as the name says, offers the highest level of comfort, with throttle response more ‘docile’).

Another safety feature is the Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS), with five levels of adjustment, which is programmed to continuously monitor front and rear wheel speed, engine RPM, throttle position and gear position.

2022 suzuki gsx-s1000gt

The GSX-S1000GT features rapid bidirectional gear shifting (Bi-directional Quick Shift System), which allows for almost instantaneous shifting up and down, without the need to engage the clutch.

Another new item on the model is the 32-bit Electronic Throttle (Ride-by-wire Electronic Throttle System), which is more accurate.

Finally, the lighting is Full-LED, that is, headlights, flashlights and turn signals rely on this technology. Completing the ‘package’, the instrument panel is also new, 100% digital in 6.5″ color TFT, with complete information and Smartphone connection for calls, music and GPS navigation, among others.

Engine

The 2022 Suzuki GSX-S1000GT has the same engine as the ‘naked’ GSX-S1000, that is, it is a 999 cm³ inline four cylinder with liquid cooling, capable of generating up to 152 HP (112 kW) of maximum power at 11,000 rpm, and 10.8 kgfm (106 Nm) of torque at 9,250 rpm. In addition, it has Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) in its 6-speed gearbox.

Finally, the new model features a 19 liter fuel tank, 43 mm KYB USD front suspension, 4-piston Brembo monobloc radial-mount calipers, 310 mm brake discs, and Dunlop SPORTMAX Roadsport2 tires.

The new 2022 Suzuki GSX-S1000GT will be in stores across Europe in November 2021, for £11,599 in the UK (approximately US $15,817).

In terms of braking, it’s not bad either. It is equipped with Brembo Stylema monobloc brake calipers and 320 mm floating discs at the front. These are controlled via a Brembo front brake lever with multi-click system for span and ratio adjustability.

Finally, the 17″ wheels are made of extremely light cast aluminum and are equipped with the new high-performance Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tires. For even more track-focused use, there is also an approved track-only specification: the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC2 V3.

Kawasaki launched in Europe the 2022 model of the Sport Touring Ninja 1000SX, which arrives with updates and new colors. It is a bike that combines the characteristics of sports with the ability to offer comfort on the road.

The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX arrives with a new 4-in-1 exhaust system, revised fairings with more angles, radial-mount monobloc front brake calipers and 4-position adjustable windshield available.

For 2022, there are three color options: Metallic Diablo Black/Pearl Robotic White, Emerald Blazed Green/ Metallic Diablo Black/Metallic Graphite Gray and Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Steel Gray/ Metallic Diablo Black.

Main features of Ninja 1000SX 2022

Clean mounting case holder: The accessory case mounting system allows them to be easily attached and removed, contributing to greater convenience. Integrating seamlessly with the rear of the bike, the clean mounting system positions the cases close to the centerline of the bike, its clean and clutter-free design ensuring that the rear of the bike still looks good with the accessories removed.

Bridgestone’s latest sports tires: Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tires contribute to lighter handling while offering greater grip on both dry and wet roads, which translates into greater confidence and rider enjoyment.

KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter): Complementing the exhilarating character of the Ninja 1000SX’s engine, the rapid gearshift allows clutchless ups and downs for continuous acceleration and fast, easy deceleration.

Excellent wind protection: The wind protection provided by the fully covered bodywork is complemented by a new windshield with four available positions. As before, the windshield is manually adjustable (no tools needed).

Smartphone Connection: A Bluetooth chip built into the dashboard allows riders to wirelessly connect to their motorcycle. Using the smartphone app “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.

Stimulating inline four-cylinder engine: The powerful 1,043cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke 4-cylinder inline engine pulls heavily from all revs and doesn’t slow down before the limit. The engine delivers excellent response, a strong mid-range slam and an intoxicating ingestion howl – each spin of the throttle rewards the rider with a stimulating physical and auditory sensation. In addition to cleaner emissions for 2020, a switch to electronic throttle valves allows for the addition of electronic cruise control, while also contributing to smooth energy delivery.

Increased Seat Comfort: Thicker and wider passenger and pilot seats provide greater comfort, facilitating more hours in the saddle. The rear seat cushion is wider than its base, providing a greater surface area. In addition, a number of accessory seating options are available to meet the needs and preferences of the rider and passenger.

Electronic Cruise Control: Kawasaki’s cruise control system allows the desired speed to be maintained at the touch of a button. Once activated, the pilot does not need to constantly apply the throttle. This reduces stress on the right hand when traveling long distances, allowing for a smooth ride and contributing to a high level of driving comfort.

One-sided silencer: The all-new exhaust system has a 4-in-2-in-1 arrangement, contributing to the Ninja 1000SX’s enhanced sporty look. The muffler arrangement on one side saves approximately 2 kg of weight.

Composite and Sporty Handling: The Ninja 1000SX’s highly rigid aluminum frame offers a high degree of mass centering, offering a balance between agility and firm handling. The bike responds quickly to the rider’s commands, while offering an excellent ability to absorb bumps and ruts. Highly composed, the Ninja 1000SX’s excellent straight-line stability and its planting feel in the corners make it easy to spend long hours in the saddle.

Color TFT instrument panel: The new compact all-digital TFT color instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-end look. The new gauge also offers additional features not available on the previous model.

More sporty, dynamic styling: Overhauls to the fairings and an all-new sided silencer give the Ninja 1000SX a sportier, more dynamic styling that reflects its sporty riding potential and contributes to a stronger image for the Ninja family. Full LED lighting adds a touch of high class.

Triumph announced that it is developing a new motorcycle to compete in the medium displacement Crossovers (Adventure Sports models) segment: the Tiger Sport 660.

These are the first information and images released by the English manufacturer about this new model, which is in the final stages of testing.

In the images released (still with camouflage), we can see that the new bike has good frontal protection, with a fairing and a windshield. The suspension appears to be slightly higher, with an inverted Showa fork at the front and monoshock at the rear.

Furthermore, it appears to use the same base as the recently released ‘naked’ Trident 660. Chassis and engine will likely be the same, perhaps with some tweaking.

tiger sport 660

In one of the images we can see the Tiger Sport 660 equipped with rigid side cases (saddlebags), which allows you to carry a certain amount of luggage.

Watch below the first official video released:

The 660 cm³ three-cylinder engine that equips Trident 660 is capable of generating up to 81 HP (60 kW) of maximum power and 64Nm / 6.5 kgfm of torque.

More information will be released in the coming weeks, but there are still no details on the second stage of its development or the forecast for its worldwide launch.

In addition to the Tiger Sport 660, the company is about to launch a new sportbike, the Speed Triple 1200 RR, which already had a teaser video released.

Triumph has released a teaser video of its new sports bike, the Speed Triple 1200 RR, and says it is coming ‘soon’. The new fairing model may be based on the ‘supernaked’ Speed Triple 1200 RS, released in January 2021.

The video doesn’t show much detail, but apparently the Speed Triple 1200 RR doesn’t appear to be an authentic sportbike, but a sport tourer, focused on the road. A better definition would be a ‘naked’ with front fairing. Apparently there are no side fairings.

Another image released shows that it will have a single, round headlight that makes it look like a cafe racer.

See below the teaser video released by the brand:

If in fact it is confirmed as based on the Speed Triple 1200 RS, the new bike would already come prepared for the tracks, with fully adjustable Öhlins suspension and Brembo Stylema brakes, among others.

Engine and technology

If it has the base of the RS, the new Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR can come with 1160 cm³ 3-cylinders engine, capable of generating up to 180 HP (132.4 kW) of maximum power and 125 Nm of torque.

In terms of technology, it can come with Optimized Cornering ABS, switchable Optimized Cornering Traction Control (with IMU), Front Wheel Lift Control, Cruise Control, 5 riding modes, ‘quickshifter’, keyless start and Smartphone connection ‘My Triumph Connectivity System’.

speed triple 1200 rr teaser

The panel would be fully digital in 5-inch color TFT, which is available in two different themes that change the color scheme of the screen.

In addition, the pilot can access turn-by-turn navigation through the free My Triumph app, control the GoPro, control the smartphone and music apps.

Anyway, there is no official technical data yet, but apparently the Speed Triple 1200 RR will be based on RS with power around 180 HP. The brand did not disclose when the model hits the market, just said it will be ‘soon’.

The 2021 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS is sold in UK from £ 15,100 (approximately US$ 20,742).

Cyclone (Chinese motorcycle company, part of the Zongshen group) has launched in China the RG3, a 400cc sport tourer.

Recently, the company launched the RX6, a 650cc adventurous motorcycle powered by British manufacturer Norton.

The Cyclone RG3 has a modern design, with aggressive lines, mainly on the front (optical set reminiscent of the new Kawasaki ZX-10R), with an LED cannon in the center (feature used in the new Yamaha R7).

In addition, the front fairing is quite wide, which helps to increase travel comfort. Speaking of travel, the model can be equipped with side cases, which make it even more ready for the ride.

cyclone rg3

The heart of the Cyclone RG3 is the 2-cylinder 400 cm³ liquid cooled engine, which is capable of generating up to 42 HP of maximum power and 34 Nm / 3.5 kgfm of torque. The gearbox is 6-speed and the fuel tank capacity is 21 liters.

In terms of technology, it features Full-LED lighting, a 6.8-inch full-color TFT digital panel, electrically adjustable windshield and front video camera (to record your travels).

Anyway, Cyclone RG3 tries to be a good option in a segment not so explored by traditional brands. There is no information as to whether it will be sold in other countries.

Yamaha launched in Europe, the 2021 TRACER 9 GT, its high displacement Sport Touring. It arrives with a new name (it was TRACER 900 GT), new design, larger 890cc engine and semi-active electronic suspension.

The 2021 Yamaha TRACER 9 GT brings a ‘new generation’ design and style, compact and aerodynamic, with a front optical assembly ‘inspired’ by the MT-125 and the supersport YZF-R1.

The upper part with daytime running light (DRL) has a design and arrangement close to that of the “small” naked MT-125. The LED cannons (high and low headlights) comes from the YZF-R1.

In addition, it has larger side fairings, increasing aerodynamics and providing greater protection against wind and rain. Comfort is greater on long journeys, aided by the tall windshield.

Now, all lighting is now LED (headlights, flashlights and turn signals), and the panel is fully digital in colored TFT (there are two panels, left and right, 3.5 inches each).

The new rigid side cases can accommodate an integral helmet and are offered as standard on the model.

New mechanics

The 2021 Yamaha TRACER 9 GT arrives with new mechanics, including a new larger 890cc engine, new chassis, new forged wheels and semi-active electronic suspension.

The engine is the new CP3 (3 cylinders in line) 889 cm³ with liquid cooling, capable of generating up to 119 HP of maximum power and 9.4 kgfm / 92Nm of torque. In addition, it has optimized gear ratios and refined assist and slip clutch.

The chassis is new, CF Deltabox in aluminum, along with a redesigned aluminum rear scale, 64mm larger. Together, they provide excellent stability at high speeds, without compromising agility.

2021 yamaha tracer 9 gt

The new forged aluminum wheels weigh 700g less than the previous generation, helping to reduce the total weight of the model.

The 41mm inverted front suspension and the monoshock rear suspension are fully electronically adjustable, allowing you to achieve the best set-up. They are from the KYB brand, semi-active type, and managed by the 6-axis IMU and ECU that activates the Hydraulic Unit (HU) and the Suspension Control Unit (SCU).

In terms of technology, the 2021 TRACER 9 GT is now equipped with some of the most advanced electronic features for riders, which offer more confidence and precise control in different climatic and road surface conditions.

Developed from the supersport YZF-R1M, the compact 6-axis IMU manages a tilt-sensitive 3-mode Traction Control System (TCS), as well as a Slip Control System (SCS), LIFt Wheel Control System front (LIF) and Brake Control (BC) system.
