Now it’s official: Marc Marquez has signed with Ducati’s factory MotoGP team, the Ducati Lenovo Team, and will race alongside two-time World Champion Francesco Bagnaia.

Ducati didn’t have much of a choice, as it ‘took a while’ to choose the rider for the next season, having two gems on hand: Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin.

As it did not make a promised announcement until the Italian GP, held last Sunday, Aprilia called Martin for a conversation and with the help of Aleix Espargaro, who will retire at the end of the year, managed to sign a ‘multi-year’ contract with him.

Thus, the ‘dispute’ for the position was between Marquez and the current rider, Enea Bastianini. But there was no way, Ducati directors had already decided between Marquez or Martin. As the latter was ‘kidnapped’ by Aprilia, all that was left for the Borgo Panigale factory was to close the deal with the eight-time World Champion.

For now, it has not been announced where Bastianini will go, but rumors say that the Italian has already signed a contract with KTM to race in the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 team, replacing Pedro Acosta, who moves up in position to race in the KTM factory team.

Luigi Dall’Igna (General Manager of Ducati Corse): “First of all, I want to thank both Enea Bastianini and Jorge Martín for all their work with us over the last few years, and I wish them all the best for the future. This season, they have shown they have reached an incredible level, and we are sure they will be in the Title fight until the end. Deciding on Bagnaia’s new teammate in the Ducati Lenovo Team was not easy, as we had a list of very strong riders to choose from.

“In the end, our choice fell on an unquestionable talent like Marc Marquez. In just a few races, he has managed to adapt perfectly to our Desmosedici GP, and his innate ambition pushes him to grow continuously. In the box, we will have two riders who together hold 11 World Titles, and being able to count on their experience and maturity will be invaluable for our growth as well.”

Marc Marquez: “I am very happy to be able to wear the red colours of the factory Ducati team in MotoGP next season. Basically, from the first contact with the Desmosedici GP, I enjoyed riding it and adapted well straight away. From that moment on, I knew that my goal was to continue this path, to continue to grow, and to move to the team where Francesco Bagnaia has been the World Champion for two years in a row. I am happy to be able to take this big step in 2025 and grateful for the trust Ducati has placed in me.

“Finally, I want to thank Nadia, Carlo, Michele, and the entire Gresini Racing family for opening the door of their team to me at a delicate time in my career. Now, we will continue to have fun and give it our all in what remains of the current season, which is my priority right now.”

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), won the Italian GP held at the Mugello track, for the MotoGP championship, after coming from fifth position and taking the lead in the race, still in the second corner.

The Italian had no trouble winning. He was practically under no pressure from Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), who was in second place until the last lap, but lost the position to Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team), in the last corner.

Bastianini was another highlight of the race, as he had lost third place to Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing), managed to recover on the penultimate lap, and on the last lap, managed to overtake Martin.

But the one who reigned at Mugello was Bagnaia, who won the Sprint race, held on Saturday, and the main race, held this Sunday. His main competitor, and championship leader, Martin, did not score points in Saturday’s race, as he crashed and had to retire.

With this, the Italian managed to reduce the advantage to the Spaniard, which is now just 18 points. Marquez, who also took advantage of Martin’s crash, finished the Sprint in second place. His difference to Martin is 35 points.

MotoGP returns on June 30th, with the Dutch GP, at the Assen circuit.

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), won the Catalan GP held on the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit, for the MotoGP championship, after an intense dispute with Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) and, in some part of the race, Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3).

Despite the good result on Sunday, Bagnaia did not score points in the Sprint race, held on Saturday. He crashed alone, in Turn 5, on the last lap, when he was leading.

But, once again, the star of the race was Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing), who started from 14th position, overtook several riders, and finished third, after ‘holding back’ Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) in the last laps.

Marquez did pretty much the same thing on Saturday. He overtook several riders very quickly, after all the race was shorter, and finished second.

marquez gresini

In this Sunday’s race, Bagnaia managed to start very well and took the lead very fast. But he had no peace of mind, as Acosta was on his trail the entire time.

It didn’t take long for the rookie to perform a daring maneuver on the reigning champion and take the lead. Then, Martin also overtook Bagnaia and went after Acosta. Without taking long, the Pramac rider overtook. The GasGas rider didn’t let up and gave the championship leader a lot of work. But, because of his aggressiveness, he ended up making a mistake, when braking at turn 10, lost the front of the bike and went to the ground.

With this, the path for Bagnaia to recover was clear. He saved tires and, in the second half of the race, went after Martin. He managed to get close with a few laps to go, overtook and crossed the finish line to victory, without any difficulties.

Marquez, despite a poor classification, had two great recovery races and reached the podium in both. With that, he took third place in the championship, just 2 points behind Bagnaia and 41 behind Martin.

MotoGP returns on June 2nd, with the Italian GP, at the Mugello circuit.

Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), won the French GP held at the Le Mans track, for the MotoGP championship, and increased his lead in the championship, as he also won the Sprint race, held on Saturday.

But the highlight of the race was Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing), who started from 13th position, overtook several riders on the first lap, and finished second, after a spectacular overtake on Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), on the last lap, practically in the final meters.

Marquez did something similar on Saturday when, with a masterful start, managed to reach fourth place on the first lap. He managed two more overtake and finished second.

marquez motogp

In Sunday’s race, which is worth the most points, he had more difficulties but, little by little, managed to overtake and get closer to the front guys. With a lot of racing pace, it didn’t take long to catch Bagnaia and Martin and try to win.

On the last lap, Bagnaia even tried to overtake Martin, but was unable to do so. Marquez didn’t think twice and decided to attack at turn 9, one of the most dangerous to try to overtake. Successfully, he managed to maintain the line and hold off the Italian in the final meters. Maneuver worthy of applause.

My friends, the last laps of the French GP were breathtaking. This race definitely went down in MotoGP history as one of the most exciting races.

Martin showed his strength and reaffirmed his leadership. Bagnaia gave his blood, led most of the race, didn’t get the victory, but got a good result, as he crashed on Saturday and didn’t score any points. Marc Marquez, on the other hand, showed why he is an eight-time world champion, is in tune with the Ducati bike and is definitely a strong candidate for this year’s title.

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), won the Spanish GP held at the Jerez track, for the MotoGP championship, in an electrifying dispute with Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing) until the last lap. Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) crashed while leading the race, after enormous pressure from the Italian.

The race was very hectic from the start, with Bagnaia starting from seventh position and, in a masterful maneuver on the first lap, took second place in the race.

Marquez, who started from pole position, dropped back to third and later fourth when he was overtaken by Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina VR46 Racing Team).

After Martin’s crash, he took third place and, with a very good race pace, managed to overtake Bezzecchi and go after Bagnaia. In the final part of the race, he managed to catch up to the Italian, overtaking him, but, in the next corner, he was overtaken back, in a very aggressive maneuver by the Italian rider.

Riding hard, Bagnaia managed to hold off the Spaniard in the last meters of the last lap and cross the finish line for another victory, which gave him second place in the championship.

It was a great result for him, as he had been suffering from a slightly lower than expected performance in previous races. In this one, he showed why he has the number 1 on his bike.

Bezzecchi completed the podium, with Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) finishing fourth, Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) fifth, and Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) sixth.

Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) won the Sprint race in Jerez, for the Spanish Grand Prix of the MotoGP championship, in a ‘crazy’ race full of crashes and twists.

One of those who crashed (while he was leading!) was Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing), who started from first position, as he had achieved pole position. He didn’t start well, losing two positions, but managed to recover and make a daring overtake on Martin to regain the lead.

As the track still had some small parts that were damp due to the rain that fell during training, touching them lost grip and increased the risk of a fall. We don’t know what happened to Marquez, but he must have caught one of these parts and ended up losing the front of his bike, with no chance of saving it. He still returned to the race, made some overtakes, and finished in seventh place.

As we mentioned, many riders crashed alone one after the other and, practically, at the same point on the track. Some who crashed while fighting for fourth position were Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing), Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team).

marquez motogp

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) crashed and retired while competing for fifth position with Binder and Bezzecchi. He ended up in the middle of the two at the entrance to turn 1, was touched and ended up crashing.

Other notable riders who also crashed in other parts of the track were Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing), Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina VR46 Racing Team).

With all these crashes, Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) and Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) reached the podium, in second and third position, respectively. The Spanish rookie took second place in the championship. Quartararo, who started in 23rd position, took an 8-second penalty after the race, due to low tire pressure, and gave up 3rd position to Dani Pedrosa, who raced as a wildcard for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.

MotoGP returns on April 28th, with the Spanish GP, at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto.

In the heart of the Lone Star State, Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) etched his name into the annals of MotoGP history with a performance that will be talked about for generations.

At the Circuit Of The Americas, amidst the roar of engines and the thunder of cheering crowds, Viñales showcased his prowess, not just as a rider, but as a legend in the making.

The race kicked off in true MotoGP fashion, with bikes jostling for position like warriors on a battlefield. Viñales, starting from pole position, found himself shuffled down the pack after a chaotic start, but as any true champion knows, the race isn’t won at the starting line—it’s won in the grit and determination to claw back every inch lost.

And claw back he did. Pass after pass, Viñales carved his way through the field, his Aprilia machine seemingly dancing through the twists and turns of the track. It was a masterclass in skill and strategy, a testament to Viñales’ unwavering focus and unwavering belief in himself.

As he surged towards the front, Viñales wasn’t just racing for victory; he was racing to make history. And when the checkered flag finally waved, it was Maverick Viñales who crossed the finish line, his name forever etched in the record books as the first rider to win with three different manufacturers in the MotoGP era.

But Viñales wasn’t the only star of the show. Behind him, young phenom Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) proved that age is just a number, claiming second place and solidifying his status as one of the sport’s brightest talents. And let’s not forget Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team), whose late surge secured him a spot on the podium, capping off an unforgettable race in America.

Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing), the eight-time World Champion, was on a trajectory to showcase yet another masterclass in motorcycle racing at the Circuit Of The Americas. With each lap, Marquez’s skill and determination were on full display as he carved through the pack, ultimately seizing the lead with a daring move that left spectators in awe.

Leading the charge, Marquez seemed poised to add another victory to his illustrious career. However, fate had other plans. In a heart-stopping moment, at the apex of his dominance, Marquez’s bike slipped from beneath him, sending him sliding out of contention and shattering the dreams of victory. It was a gut-wrenching turn of events, a reminder of the fine line between triumph and despair in the high-stakes world of MotoGP.

As the dust settles and the engines quiet, one thing is clear: Maverick Viñales didn’t just win a race; he made history. And in the world of MotoGP, where legends are born and champions are made, that’s a feat worthy of celebration.

Now, as the paddock turns its attention back to Europe and the historic Circuit de Jerez – Angel Nieto, we can only wonder what other thrills and spills await us on the road to glory.

In a pulsating Portuguese Grand Prix, for the MotoGP Championship, Jorge Martin showcased his prowess, navigating the twists and turns flawlessly to seize victory for Prima Pramac Racing.

The race wasn’t just about Martin’s triumph; it was a rollercoaster of emotions with Pedro Acosta’s remarkable podium finish and the heart-stopping clash between Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez.

Right from the start, Martin demonstrated his intent, leading the charge into turn one with the precision of a seasoned champion. His flawless start set the tone for what would be a thrilling race. But behind him, the battle was raging, with Maverick Vinales hot on his heels aboard the Aprilia Racing machine.

As the laps unfolded, the intensity only escalated. Bagnaia and Marquez engaged in a gripping duel for fourth position, their machines dancing inches apart as they fought for supremacy. Meanwhile, Acosta, the rookie sensation, was steadily making his mark, displaying remarkable skill and determination as he climbed up the ranks.

But as fate would have it, the race took a dramatic turn. Alex Marquez’s hopes were dashed as he lost control at turn five, while Raul Fernandez faced a similar fate at turn eight. Yet, amidst the chaos, Acosta’s star continued to rise. Battling with the likes of Jack Miller and Brad Binder, he showcased nerves of steel, executing daring maneuvers that left the crowd in awe.

However, the defining moment came when Acosta’s daring move on Bagnaia set the stage for a showdown of epic proportions. With just five laps remaining, Marquez attempted to make his move, resulting in a heart-stopping collision that saw both riders crashing out of contention. The incident shook the paddock, but it also underscored the unforgiving nature of MotoGP racing.

As the checkered flag beckoned, Martin held firm, crossing the line with a masterclass performance that cemented his status as a force to be reckoned with. Behind him, Enea Bastianini clinched second place in a dramatic final lap, while Acosta’s meteoric rise culminated in a well-deserved spot on the podium.

The Portuguese MotoGP was a testament to the thrill and unpredictability of motorcycle racing. From Martin’s dominant display to Acosta’s breakout performance and the nail-biting clashes on the track, it was a spectacle that will be etched in the annals of MotoGP history.

In a breathtaking display of skill and determination, Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) clinched a sensational victory at the Portuguese Grand Prix’s MotoGP Sprint.

However, the race wasn’t just about Viñales’ triumph; it also showcased the mesmerizing performance of Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP), with an audacious overtake on Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), on the last lap.

As the lights went out, the track ignited with energy as riders jostled for position. Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) took an early lead, while pole-sitter Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) faced fierce competition, slipping down the ranks. Amidst the chaos, Marquez surged forward, displaying his trademark aggression and precision to slot into third place after a swift overtake on Viñales.

The 2023 MotoGP Championship just turned into an all-out dog fight with three rounds to go, and the standings gap has tightened to a mere 13 points.

But how did this happen? The answer lies in pure magic as Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) pulled off an astonishing victory against formidable opponents Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) in a nail-biting, gloves-off battle that left spectators on the edge of their seats.

The Grand Prix of Thailand in Buriram witnessed a showdown for the ages. Jorge Martin secured the top spot, while Binder crossed the line in second place but unfortunately exceeded track limits on the final lap, gifting Bagnaia those precious 20 points.

What’s more, this race goes down in history as the fourth closest premier class podium finish ever, with a mere 0.253-second gap.

From the get-go, the race was intense. Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) initially snatched the lead from Martin, but the polesitter held his ground into Turn 1, making a daring move around the outside. Bagnaia, who started fast from sixth on the grid, quickly moved up to fourth.

The opening laps were marked by fierce competition, with Martin leading the way. Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) overtook Marini for second place, and Binder, on a mission, made his move further back. He lunged past Bagnaia to claim fourth place, allowing Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) to push the reigning champion down to sixth.

martin motogp

Martin didn’t establish a huge lead in the early stages, unlike his previous races. Instead, the leading group engaged in close battles. Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) joined the fray, going wheel to wheel with Bagnaia. The two champions exchanged close passes as they fought for sixth place, until Bagnaia managed to pull away.

With 20 laps to go, the race briefly calmed down as Martin led the way with Binder shadowing him. Behind them, Alex Marquez held third, while Marini, Aleix Espargaro, Bagnaia, and Marc Marquez were in close pursuit. By the time there were 17 laps left, Bagnaia had clawed his way back to fourth place, closing in on Alex Marquez.

Bagnaia continued to make steady progress toward third place, but then the unexpected happened. Alex Marquez’s charge came to an end as he slid out, promoting Bagnaia to third. Ahead of him were a KTM and one more Ducati.

The battle intensified between Martin, Binder, and Bagnaia. Binder waited until the final seven laps to make his move, lunging past Martin but failing to make it stick. The two riders exchanged paintwork over the next lap, with Bagnaia, having caught up, closely observing.

Binder eventually managed to overtake Martin and took the lead with five laps to go. This time, he left no room for Martin to counterattack, turning up the pressure on the number 89.

The tension persisted right up to Turn 2 on the penultimate lap, where Martin regained the lead from Binder. Martin’s strategy for the final lap was clear: defend his position. As Bagnaia attempted to sweep past both riders in the penultimate corner, the final lap remained tense.

In a heart-pounding finale, Martin held his ground, with Binder relentlessly pursuing him. Bagnaia sought his own opening, but as the three riders charged into the final corner, there were no openings, no quarter given, and no mistakes made.

Jorge Martin emerged as the victor, withstanding an incredible amount of pressure to secure his fourth double of the season. Binder crossed the line in second place but fell victim to a track limits violation earlier on the final lap, pushing him down to third. Nevertheless, he now holds the record for the most premier class podiums by a South African rider, with nine podium finishes.

Bagnaia claimed 20 crucial points for second place, maintaining his lead by 13 points after demonstrating an unwavering competitive spirit throughout the race. The 2023 MotoGP Championship is shaping up to be an unforgettable battle, with fans eagerly anticipating the next thrilling rounds.

In a jaw-dropping turn of events at the Australian Grand Prix for the MotoGP Championship, Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac Racing) achieved an unprecedented victory.

The race, which had seemed firmly in the grasp of his teammate, Jorge Martin, took a thrilling twist in the final meters, as Martin’s tire choice cost him dearly.

Jorge Martin had led the race from the beginning, showcasing remarkable speed and dominance. However, he had chosen the soft tires, a decision that proved to be his downfall in the closing laps.

Zarco capitalized on Martin’s tire predicament with a daring move on the last lap, snatching the lead and ultimately securing his maiden MotoGP win.

This dramatic turn of events also had implications for the championship standings. Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), the current championship leader, seized the opportunity presented by Martin’s tire woes and slipped past him to claim second place.

The chaos wasn’t over, as Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing MotoGP) and Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) overtook Martin in the final moments, adding to the spectacle.

As the dust settled, Johann Zarco shed his title as the rider with the most MotoGP podiums without a win. Jorge Martin now faced a 27-point deficit in the championship, while Francesco Bagnaia celebrated another impressive comeback from Q1 to the podium. Meanwhile, ‘Diggia’ celebrated his first-ever premier class podium, making it a day to remember.

Martin’s tire gamble had seemed perfect, with him holding a significant lead until the last few laps. However, as the chasing group closed in, the tension mounted. Binder, Di Giannantonio, Bagnaia, and Zarco joined the battle for supremacy.

While Martin initially held his lead, the pursuing group worked together to narrow the gap. Di Giannantonio made a brilliant move to take over second place, while Binder, Bagnaia, and Zarco remained hot on their heels. The suspense continued to build as the quartet closed in on Martin.

On the last lap, the race dynamics shifted dramatically. Zarco made a daring move at Turn 4, snatching the lead from Martin. Bagnaia, displaying quick reflexes, also overtook Martin, setting the stage for a thrilling finish.

As Johann Zarco crossed the finish line to claim his long-awaited victory, Bagnaia secured second place, and Di Giannantonio celebrated his first MotoGP podium in third. Binder, too, managed to overtake Martin right at the finish line, adding to the excitement of this unforgettable race.

The Australian Grand Prix will be remembered as a race filled with unexpected twists and breathtaking moments, with Johann Zarco emerging as the hero of the day.

In a sensational turn of events, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) emerged victorious at the Grand Prix of Indonesia, reclaiming his MotoGP Championship lead from Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), who had stormed ahead in the Sprint race just a day before. Bagnaia’s journey was far from easy, as he had to overcome a significant setback.

Before the Grand Prix, Bagnaia’s comfortable 66-point lead over Martin had shrunk to a mere seven points. The number 1 rider had finished a disappointing eighth in the Sprint race, and from his starting position at P13 for the Grand Prix, things looked challenging. On the other hand, Jorge Martin was in scorching form, clinching his fourth consecutive Sprint victory.

However, race day brought a dramatic reversal of fortune. Bagnaia launched a determined assault from the moment the lights went out, swiftly moving up to third place.

While Martin surged ahead into the lead, the pivotal moment arrived when Martin unexpectedly slid out at Turn 11, handing Bagnaia a golden opportunity. The reigning champion seized it, battling his way past Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) before crossing the finish line. Despite intense pressure from Viñales and Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), Bagnaia held on to secure victory, leaving Mandalika with an 18-point lead.

bagnaia

The race’s opening laps were full of action, with Martin taking the lead from sixth on the grid and Viñales close behind. Quartararo followed in third, while Bagnaia launched a spectacular charge from 13th on the grid to reach third place by Lap 3.

Meanwhile, elsewhere on the track, Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) crashed out, and Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) collided with Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team), sending the Italian sliding out. Martin, however, was dominating the race, consistently setting the fastest laps and building a substantial lead over Viñales.

In a surprising turn of events, Martin’s error at Turn 11 changed the course of the race. His Ducati went through the gravel, allowing Bagnaia to seize the opportunity with only Viñales ahead of him.

Bagnaia patiently closed the gap to Viñales and, with a perfectly calculated move at Turn 10, snatched the lead with eight laps remaining. From there, he posed challenging questions to Viñales, who was trying to keep up. Behind them, Quartararo was rapidly closing in, making the battle for victory all the more intense.

Although Quartararo caught up with Viñales, passing him proved to be a formidable challenge. The trio held their positions, setting the stage for a thrilling final lap. As the race concluded, Bagnaia managed to maintain his lead, becoming the first rider to win from outside the top four rows in a dry race since Marco Melandri at the 2006 Turkish GP.

Francesco Bagnaia’s victory was not just a race win; it was a remarkable comeback that solidified his championship lead in this unforgettable Grand Prix of Indonesia.

In a stunning turn of events, the MotoGP world is abuzz with the news that Marc Marquez will be leaving Honda at the end of the 2023 season to join Gresini Racing, riding a Ducati bike.

With a year still remaining on their four-year contract, both Marquez and Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) have made the bold decision to part ways.

This decision marks the end of an incredible 11-year collaboration between Marquez, known as the #93, and HRC, during which they achieved six premier class World Championships, five Triple Crowns, 59 victories, 101 podium finishes, and 64 pole positions together.

Marquez’s journey with Honda began in 2013 when he secured his debut premier class victory aboard the Honda RC213V at the Grand Prix of the Americas, making him the youngest premier class winner at that time. He went on to claim the premier class World Championship later that year.

In the following years, Marquez continued to dominate the MotoGP scene, defending his title in 2014 and securing titles in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 while riding for HRC with the Repsol Honda Team.

The decision to part ways was mutual, with both parties believing it is in their best interest to explore new opportunities to achieve their respective goals and targets. While this news has shaken the MotoGP world, it’s a testament to the ever-evolving nature of the sport and the determination of its athletes.

As we look ahead, the 2024 MotoGP World Championship season promises to be a thrilling one, with Marquez bringing his talents to Gresini Racing and the Ducati team. Both HRC and Marquez have expressed their commitment to giving their full support for the remaining rounds of the season.

In the world of motorsports, change is the only constant, and this move by Marc Marquez only adds to the excitement and anticipation for the future of MotoGP.

In a thrilling display of skill and tenacity, Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) lit up the Grand Prix of Japan with a spectacular victory, solidifying his status as a MotoGP rising star.

He outshone his competitors, including Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), in both races of the weekend. This incredible feat narrowed the gap in the Championship standings to a mere three points, setting the stage for an electrifying season finale.

The Motegi circuit witnessed pure drama as rain-soaked conditions turned the race into a flag-to-flag spectacle. Despite a premature end, fans were treated to heart-pounding action. The race began with a twist as rain flags were waved on the sighting lap, forcing riders to make critical tire choices.

Moments before the start, rain intensified, leaving the grid in suspense. However, the race got underway with Martin seizing the holeshot from pole position. Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) also made a strong start, while Bagnaia, the reigning World Champion, had a shaky beginning, dropping to fourth.

The drama escalated as worsening conditions led to a pitlane opening for bike changes, a decision embraced by most riders. Martin led the charge into pitlane, closely followed by Bagnaia, Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team), Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team), and Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing).

Remarkably, five riders chose to stay out, with Michele Pirro (Ducati Lenovo Team) surprisingly taking the lead. From those who changed bikes, Martin led a formidable group onto the track, with Espargaro, Marquez, Bagnaia, and Bezzecchi in pursuit.

The race’s early laps were nothing short of spectacular, with Martin experiencing ups and downs. He momentarily dropped to ninth but swiftly recovered. Meanwhile, Pirro maintained a commanding lead, but soon he too switched bikes, giving Espargaro the lead. The pecking order continued to shift as Bagnaia and Martin moved up the ranks, eventually overtaking Bezzecchi and Marquez for podium contention.

As the race progressed, the drama continued unabated. Espargaro, Bagnaia, and Martin battled fiercely for position. Martin ultimately surged ahead, securing second place before taking the lead from Espargaro. This impressive performance propelled him to a seven-tenths lead over the chasing pack.

Despite the chaotic start, the race began to settle down after nine laps, with Martin extending his lead. Bagnaia held onto second, while Marquez mounted a podium challenge, passing Bezzecchi and closing in on Bagnaia. However, just when it seemed Marquez might catch his rival, a red flag waved.

The red flag marked a sudden end to the race, leaving riders in uncertainty. Conditions appeared to improve briefly, prompting a restart attempt. However, the red flag resurfaced, and the race was ultimately declared with 13 of 24 laps completed, awarding full points.

Jorge Martin’s dominant victory in Japan was a testament to his remarkable talent and adaptability in challenging conditions. With the Championship battle now narrowed to just three points, the MotoGP season promises even more heart-stopping moments in the races to come.

The Grand Prix of India witnessed an awe-inspiring performance by Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team), shaking up MotoGP Championship race.

In a race filled with twists and turns, Bezzecchi left no room for doubt as he dominated the competition, clinching a resounding victory with a lead of 8.649 seconds.

The race unfolded in a dramatic fashion as Jorge Martin (Primac Pramac Racing) took an early lead, thanks to a lightning start that left pole-sitter Bezzecchi trailing.

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), the championship leader, was determined to keep Martin in check and launched a spirited attack to close the gap.

In a daring move on the brakes, Bagnaia attempted to overtake Martin, but the reigning world champion proved to be a tough nut to crack. Unfortunately for Martin, he ran wide and slipped down to fourth place, handing the lead to Bagnaia. Seizing the opportunity, Bezzecchi made his move on Martin, who found himself in third place.

Bezzecchi wasted no time and unleashed a torrent of fast laps, putting immense pressure on Bagnaia. The VR46 machine started to pull away, and Bezzecchi was soon a full second ahead of his rivals. Meanwhile, Bagnaia found himself embroiled in a fierce battle with Jorge Martin, who was eager to regain his position at the front. With 17 laps to go, Martin executed a daring pass, setting his sights on Bezzecchi, who had extended his lead to two seconds.

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team), who had been watching from fourth place, tried to enter the fray but found the pace a bit too hot to handle. Unfortunately, his front end folded at Turn 1, forcing him to rejoin the race and settle just outside the points, losing a mere 10 seconds during the mishap.

The excitement continued to build as Martin did everything in his power to shake off Bagnaia, who refused to yield. With eight laps remaining, Bagnaia made a bold move to regain the lead but succumbed to the pressure, causing his front end to wash out from underneath him.

This costly error dealt a significant blow to his championship aspirations and elevated Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) to a podium position. Quartararo, who had been lurking in fourth place, benefited from the Ducati duel unfolding ahead.

As the race neared its conclusion, Marco Bezzecchi, the race leader, was in a league of his own, securing an incredible victory and adding 25 valuable points to his championship campaign.

Jorge Martin began to struggle in the scorching Indian heat, making a costly mistake in the closing stages. Quartararo seized the opportunity and moved ahead of Martin, but the Spaniard managed a remarkable defensive performance, thanks in part to the power of his Ducati, securing second place.

Further down the field, Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) engaged in an epic battle with Joan Mir (Repsol Honda Team) for fourth place. Binder emerged victorious after a stellar performance that saw him charge through the ranks from 13th on the grid.

Remarkably, Marc Marquez staged an incredible recovery, finishing in ninth place after his earlier mishap. The GP of India delivered a breathtaking race, shaking up the MotoGP Championship race and leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next thrilling installment of this high-speed drama.

In a stunning display of skill and determination, Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) secured an unforgettable victory at the San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini GP.

His remarkable performance at the MotoGP Championship race left spectators in awe and reignited the title race in spectacular fashion.

Jorge Martin’s weekend in San Marino couldn’t have started better. He clinched pole position, dominated the Sprint race, and then went on to seal the deal with a triumphant victory on Sunday. Martin’s performance showcased the balance between skill and precision that defines a true MotoGP champion.

The Race Unfolds

As the race began, Martin got a flawless start, taking the lead from the beginning and leaving no room for error. Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) chased him closely, setting the stage for an intense battle at the front.

Dani Pedrosa (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), the MotoGP legend, made a remarkable start and quickly moved up to fourth place. Despite a minor hiccup between Turns 1 and 2, Pedrosa held his ground, keeping the pressure on the leaders.

A Thrilling Battle

The early laps of the race witnessed a captivating showdown among Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, and the rapidly advancing Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing). With Binder’s impressive progress, the front group was separated by mere tenths of a second, promising a thrilling race ahead.

However, fate took a turn for Binder on Lap 8 when he crashed at Turn 14, dashing his podium hopes and handing Pedrosa the lead KTM position. The race continued to be eventful as Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) also faced misfortune, crashing out of contention after an incident with Michele Pirro.

The real surprise of the race came from Dani Pedrosa. With incredible pace, he began to close in on Bezzecchi’s rear wheel, setting the track on fire with his performance. At one point, Pedrosa was the only rider lapping in the 1:31s, showcasing his extraordinary skills.

As the laps dwindled, Martin’s lead grew, and Bezzecchi made a late charge. However, Martin’s lead was insurmountable. Meanwhile, Bagnaia struggled with his injuries, and Pedrosa remained hot on his heels. The battle for crucial points in the championship raged on.

With just a few laps remaining, Bagnaia valiantly held off Pedrosa, with Bezzecchi closing the gap to Martin. But it was too little too late, as Martin controlled his advantage and powered towards a flawless weekend.

Conclusion

Jorge Martin’s spectacular victory at the San Marino GP not only secured maximum points but also injected new life into the MotoGP Championship race.

With the gap between Martin and Championship leader Pecco now at 36 points, the stage is set for a brand-new challenge as India hosts MotoGP for the very first time.

In a stunning display of skill and determination, Aleix Espargaro, Aprilia Racing rider in MotoGP, etched his name into the history books at the Catalunya Grand Prix.

This thrilling race not only showcased Espargaro’s brilliance but also witnessed a Catalan one-two as his teammate, Maverick Viñales, joined him on the podium at the Gran Premio de Catalunya.

While the crowd roared with excitement, the absence of Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) due to a crash added an unexpected twist to the event.

A Chaotic Start

All eyes were on local hero Aleix Espargaro, who started from the middle of the front row, creating high expectations among his fans. However, the start of the Catalunya GP took an unexpected turn as Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) faced a challenging moment at Turn 1.

His misfortune triggered a chain reaction that involved Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac Racing), resulting in a multi-rider pile-up at the Turn 1 gravel trap.

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) also suffered a dramatic high-side at turn two, causing further chaos. The red flags waved, and Bagnaia was swiftly taken to the medical center as the track underwent necessary repairs for a race restart.

A Fresh Beginning

As the riders lined up for the restart, they knew it was time to put the past events behind them and focus on a fresh start. Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) grabbed the holeshot this time, with Viñales making a strong move to lead on the first lap. Aleix Espargaro settled into third place, engaging in a battle with Miguel Oliveira.

With 21 laps remaining, Aleix Espargaro made a decisive move to pass Jorge Martin, determined to ensure his teammate Viñales didn’t escape. Miguel Oliveira also seized the opportunity to move up into third place. Aleix Espargaro showcased impressive pace, narrowing the gap to Viñales and setting the stage for a thrilling race.

Aprilia Dominance:

The race evolved into a fierce competition among the three Aprilia riders as they led the pack. Unfortunately, Miguel Oliveira couldn’t maintain the pace set by the factory Aprilia duo, allowing Jorge Martin to close in on him with 14 laps remaining.

However, Aleix Espargaro encountered a setback with 12 laps to go, briefly falling behind. Maverick Viñales built a 1.5-second lead over his fellow Catalan rider. It was a critical moment for Viñales to demonstrate his skills and secure his first Grand Prix victory at his home circuit.

Espargaro’s Triumph

With relentless determination, Aleix Espargaro began chipping away at Viñales’ lead, closing the gap with each passing lap. Four laps from the finish, Espargaro executed a brilliant move, forcing Viñales to take the long lap loop.

Tire wear became a factor for the Aprilia machines, causing Viñales to lose ground. Although the gap narrowed on the final lap, it wasn’t enough for Maverick to mount a challenge. Aleix Espargaro seized the victory, crossing the finish line just 0.377 seconds ahead of his teammate.

Conclusion

The Catalunya Grand Prix will be remembered for Aleix Espargaro’s historic victory and the impressive one-two finish by Aprilia. This race showcased the resilience and skill of these riders in the face of adversity, making it a thrilling spectacle for fans worldwide.

In a move that promises to shake up the world of motorcycle racing, Alvaro Bautista, the reigning World Superbike Champion, is gearing up for an electrifying wildcard appearance at the Grand Prix of Malaysia for the MotoGP Championship.

The powerhouse duo of Bautista and the Aruba.it Racing team are poised to grace the Sepang International Circuit from November 10th to 12th, 2023, following their triumphant World Superbike Championship campaign.

The anticipation surrounding Bautista’s wild card entry is palpable, with enthusiasts from all corners of the globe eagerly awaiting the high-octane action.

What adds an extra layer of excitement to this already riveting event is the timing of the Grand Prix – a mere two weeks after the conclusion of the Superbike World Championship WorldSBK in Jerez, held from October 27th to 29th.

Ducati aficionados are in for a treat, as the Malaysian showdown marks the third wildcard appearance of the 2023 season for the Italian marque. The exhilarating journey began earlier in the year when Michele Pirro took to the track at Mugello in May, followed by the upcoming spectacle at the San Marino GP in Misano. This time, the spotlight shifts to Bautista and the Aruba.it Racing team, who have been making waves with their distinctive livery.

The intrigue deepens as Ducati solidifies its partnership with Aruba.it, mirroring the liveries of the factory Panigale V4R machine in the World Superbike Championship. The union of precision engineering and captivating aesthetics has proven to be a recipe for success, a true spectacle for fans and competitors alike.

The road leading to the Grand Prix of Malaysia has been paved with promise, highlighted by Bautista’s recent exploits aboard the Ducati Desmosedici GP. Two resounding tests at Misano have provided compelling evidence of the reigning World Champion’s mettle and the Ducati’s prowess. Bautista’s return to the MotoGP arena after his last appearance at the 2018 Valencia GP is nothing short of a narrative masterpiece, poised to captivate audiences anew.

Alvaro Bautista: “I’m really happy to be able to race in MotoGP as a wildcard at Sepang, a track that I really like and that I’m happy to be back at since it’s not on the WorldSBK calendar. The tests with the Ducati Desmosedici GP gave positive feedback: the feeling was good, and I had fun. I want to sincerely thank Ducati and Aruba.it because, without them, it would have been impossible to have this opportunity. At the same time, I would like to say that this MotoGP race will be a bonus for me and not a priority.

“That’s why we must stay focused on the WorldSBK Championship, which is the only thing that matters now. I want to stay focused for this last part of the season, which will be very demanding, with many races in a short time. The feeling with the Panigale V4R machine is good, and I hope to continue on this path. Then, when the season ends, we’ll think about going to Malaysia and having fun. Now I’ll have a little holiday, and then we’ll be back at Magny-Cours.”

In a sport where milliseconds separate victory from defeat, Alvaro Bautista’s wildcard entry is a bold statement – a symphony of power, precision, and passion. As the Grand Prix of Malaysia approaches, the world holds its breath in anticipation of a spectacle that promises to be etched in the annals of racing history.
